In 1959, Mr Joseph Matno Pang, our company founder, set up his professional practice in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaya, as an Electrical Consulting Engineer, providing Electrical
Consulting Services for clients mainly in the private sector. Mr Pang’s
practice was the first local electrical consultancy in Malaya.
In 1970, the Firm was re-organised under the name of J M PANG &
ASSOCIATES, with offices in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, offering Consulting
Services in the fields of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
In 1974, the Singapore office was incorporated as a private limited company
under the name of J M Pang & Associates Pte Ltd whilst in 1975, the Kuala Lumpur office
was also incorporated in Malaysia under the name of Raja Tan Sri Zainal
Dan Pang Sendirian Berhad.
In 1993, the Singapore office was further re-organised
as a Professional Consultancy under the name of J M PANG &
ASSOCIATES.
